As such, a company’s data may be amongst its most valuable assets.
Viruses, hard disk failures etc – can result in loss of IT systems and data.
It is therefore imperative that data is properly backed up, so that it will not be lost forever should a computer system fail, be destroyed by fire, or be stolen. We will help the client ensure that their valuable corporate data is being backed up in a way that would minimise any data losses that may be incurred with a critical systems failure, and similarly reduce the time taken to recover the data should it be necessary. Having ensured that all corporate data is being satisfactorily backed up, we will help a company further plan for the worst. The IT needs of the company will be assessed, prioritised, and a Disaster Recovery Plan will be drafted to aid in any recovery process that may be necessary. We will hold a copy of this plan, and if required we can be available on call to implement this plan in the event of a systems failure. Where an agreed Disaster Recovery Plan dictates, we will hold built standby servers for clients, which are operationally identical to their existing servers, thereby minimising downtime should an especially rapid recovery be needed.
