Many small businesses benefit from a thorough, independent, impartial review of their current IT capabilities. Where companies have grown slowly over time, there is often a lack of coordination between systems. We will look at the entire computing environment within the company, and produce a report that details:

• where things are running well
• where there is scope for improvement
• identify and explain your current storage uses and capacities (and wherever possible establish the rate of use)
• identify anything that needs urgent remedial action

The review centres on those criteria that are key to an effective IT function, including:

• data security and backups
• internet access and security
• the internal network
• the capabilities and projected lifespan of the desktop PCs and servers.
• IT policies and procedures

As a result of this review, we will be able to identify clients’ existing requirements, and how those requirements may change as their business grows. We will also point out where there are opportunities for clients to use their existing IT systems to their full potential, in many cases allowing employees to work smarter, and offering the company cost effective productivity benefits.
